Part-Time Temporary Finance Manager, in Bungay
About Our Client & The Role:
Our client is a dynamic and innovative international organisation in Bungay dedicated to providing a world class service in manufacturing & project management. They are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Finance Manager with extensive SAP experience to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will be able to hit the ground running, taking charge of financial operations, optimising financial processes, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. This role is crucial in supporting our client through a transition period whilst working towards strategic goals and driving financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage the financial operations of the company, ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
• Utilise SAP software to maintain accurate financial records, perform financial analysis, and generate financial reports.
• Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance financial integrity and efficiency.
• Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making.
• Manage the audit process and liaise with external auditors to ensure successful audit outcomes.
• Supervise and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in financial management.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role within an engineering or manufacturing environment is essential.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA) is desirable but not essential
• Strong proficiency in SAP financial modules is essential.
• In-depth knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines and follow processes through the full life-cycle.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
