Exciting Career Opportunity for an Assistant Accountant

Are you a seasoned Assistant Accountant seeking a thrilling new career challenge where you can put your skills and expertise to great use? As the Assistant Accountant, your primary focus will be providing invaluable support to the financial planning and analysis function. You'll play a pivotal role in aiding and influencing the senior leadership team to gain a comprehensive understanding of their financial standing. Your expertise will be instrumental in bolstering the finance team's operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with the Financial Controller to prepare monthly management accounts, which includes tasks such as posting prepayments, managing fixed assets, handling accruals, and overseeing petty cash, among others. You'll also assist with annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and data uploads into the Tagetik consolidation tool.
- Processing payroll journals within the system based on third-party payroll reports.
- Preparing weekly and monthly cashflow reports, sales and margin reports, and organising payment runs, including banking verification, drawdowns, and FX requirement checks.

Skills, Competencies, and Experience:

Essential:
- Relevant accounting or bookkeeping qualifications or the ability to demonstrate at least 3-5 years of financial work experience.
- Proficiency in financial reporting data analysis.
- Exceptional numeracy skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong MS Office skills, particularly in PowerPoint and Excel.
